Michał Gorstkin Wywiórski was one of the many artists who visited hospitable house of Raczynski in Rogalin. Staying here in 1907 Wywiórski painted two paintings depicting famous Rogalin oaks, growing in the nature park and in the marshes  of Warta. These are works from the period of active operations of Wiewiórski in Poznań, crowned with launch in the capital of Wielkopolska in 1909, of the Society of Friends of Fine Arts, where Wywiorski was appointed to the Recon Commission. He has also been a member of the founded in the same year, the Artists Association in Poznan.

In the painting showing the three oldest Rogalin oaks, the artist remained true to details, strived to depict the play of light piercing through the tangle of branches and illuminating leaves, shimmering with blaze of autumn colors. Pushing this painting, emerging from the assumptions of realistic painting  to impressionism, which Wywiorski could encounter during his studies in Munich.
