  1. The ticket office starts selling tickets half an hour before opening exhibitions and finishes half an hour before closing.
  2. Admission to exhibitions requires a valid ticket (including charge free tickets).
  3. The number of ticket to the palace for a given day is limited. This may mean there is no possibility of entry. Tickets to the palace are issued for specific hours – please observe the entry time. Late arrivals may result in no possibility of entry, even if a ticket has already been purchased.
  4. The last entry to the palace is possible 45 minutes before closing, to the paintings gallery, the carriage house, the London office and the gallery of ancestors – 30 minutes before closing.
  5. In order to ensure sightseeing comfort and in view of the character of exhibitions and their safety, sightseeing the palace takes place under supervision of the Museum’s staff in groups up to 25 persons, and in the case of persons with disabilities - up to 15 persons (including group leaders, tour leaders, etc.). In case of organized groups of more than 25 persons (or 15 persons with disabilities), the groups will be divided and admitted in 15-minute intervals.
  6. Individual visitors sightsee the palace in groups of maximum 25 persons.
  7. Guests with valid tickets to the palace must report to the cloakroom at the palace not later than 5 minutes before the planned entry time. Organized groups shall purchase and collect their tickets half an hour before designated entry to the palace.
  8. Charge free audio-guides are available at the palace.
  9. In view of exhibitions safety prams shall be left in the cloakroom at the palace. Feeding children and changing diapers is possible in especially designated places.
  10. For maintenance and organizational reasons the sightseeing routes may be changed and limited.

BOOKING PRINCIPLES

  1. Booking admission for individual visitors is not allowed.
  2. Booking is obligatory in the following instances:
  • visiting the palace for organized groups (from 11 persons)
  • visiting the palace or galleries with a guide

(admission ticket + guided tour ticket)

  • specialist exposition tours  

(admission ticket + guided tour ticket)

  • specialist park tours

(guided tour ticket)

  • using a museum lesson, workshops or classes at the Children’s Museum

(admission ticket + educational ticket for every participant)

  1. Booking shall be made not sooner than 3 months and not later than 1 week prior to the planned visit.
  2. Booking shall be conformed not later than one week before planned date of arrival. Unconfirmed reservations will be cancelled. In case of cancellation please notify the Museum without delay.
